H is for Hello, Miss TJ; Super Sleuth & We're In The Money

First things first: all hail Katchit (pink & green silks), Mighty Man (navy silks), Exotic Dancer (pink & purple checks) & Tidal Bay for getting our syndicate off to a flying start on Day One. We can't wait for tomorrow! Our inter syndicate challenge stands as thus:

Im got another ticking off for not saying "hello" on an internal call again but considering I managed to remember to say it 5 times out of the 6 JK buzzed me, I thought I did pretty well. Mind you it IS a concious effort not to just say the first thing that pops into my head, especially when Im busy & in the middle of a set of figures.

The new guy started today. He is called T.... not to be confused with our old workmate of the same letter although as he's left for good & is off to start a new life in Spain on 10 May, I won't have any reason to mention him anymore so Im sticking with calling the new guy T. Hey its my blog. If you have a problem with it, do I give a fuck?!

Anyway for the whole entire day he has been locked in intense meetings with E & J so we haven't had a chance to get to know him yet. For most of the day all we knew was his name; T & that he's with us on Thursdays & Fridays. Oh & he gets £12k a year. By 4pm I was sick of the guys finding excuses to come into the office to try & catch a sneaky peak of him or to ask if I knew anything more about him so I took matters into my own hands & went to his desk. Lo & behold, he had left out some documents he REALLY shouldn't have... mainly because I had a flick through them. I could have been anybody.

The upshot being, he is here to put together a development plan for the company... whatever the point of one of those are. We've had them before but they were mainly a complete waste of time... & £12k obviously. Then in the last five minutes before we left, T emerged. In that short space of time (I don't know what E & J have been doing with him all day but they obviously weren't sussing him out) I discoveredt he is 51 years old, its nearly his birthday, he has a brother & 2 sisters & is annoyingly quite a nice personality so hating him is impossible. God damn it.
