Borrowed Time, Hot Coals & One Day To Go!!

To celebrate the start of Aintree tomorrow, above is a pic of my Grand National tip (10pts if you can correctly identify him before the end of this entry!). I have personally followed this horse for the past 6 years & have backed him for every Grand National he has participated in although this year he has been suffering from knee problems & has spent more time in the swimming pool than doing any real work but all this means he'll be fresher than some of the other runners come the big day. His trainer knows how to get him right & his regular pilot is an Aintree veteran so Im not worried. Providing his knee holds out, he'll be there or there abouts come the finish line. He bloody better be, Ive had an antepost bet on him since 20mins after the 2006 National!

Back to my rant! J called D into her office this morning to discuss all the little niggling issues J has with her. Later in the afternoon it transpired D had brought in a disk from home which has only gone and given a couple of the office computers a virus which did nothing to better J's mood... whose wrath I did not escape. I got the biggest bollocking EVER for not answering my internal calls with "hello". I always say whatever comes into my head first which is usually something like "yeah?" or "yes" because I can see who is buzzing me as their name lights up on my phone's key pad. Its always JK buzzing me anyway coz he can never get his printer to work... usually coz its not plugged in but thats another story!

Anyway I thought she was going to explode. Actually that would have been quite cool. Peace at last & all that. Her mood has been getting darker all day as we've had to make way for this new guy starting tomorrow & quite frankly there isn't really room for him. I said if he's free & single he can share with me, Im not fussed. As it is he's sharing offices with D... who may not be here much longer if J has her way.
