Shameless, (Un)Happy Anniversary & Further Into The Red

Ok so I wasn't impressed that I had to be in work early today purely because everyone else refused to get out of bed at such an ungodly hour to meet a Director that was coming in. As it was my boss J gave me a present when she came in (a cute little bag) which has set the guys wondering if she'd always planned to get me in early & the present was a thank you for it.

J has found herself a holiday. Not sure of the details yet but then neither is she! I have been shamelessly encouraging her into taking a week off all day so that the rest of us get some peace in her absence!

Its my mam & dads 25th wedding anniversary today & he is begrudgingly taking her out for a meal tonight. A sign of how bad a marriage they actually have is this:- my dad wanted me to come to dinner with them. Then about half an hour later my mam text me to beg me to come too. Neither knows the other had already asked me. Either way I declined. Hey - this is their marital bliss they can lie in it. Im staying home with chocolate & the TV!

And finally, nothing interesting happened on the big works night out last Friday which I bypassed due to illness except R got chatted up by a gay guy on two seperate occasions. I think its now time he reached for the hair dye! His face must have been a picture because he thinks he is a bit of a superstud & a hit with the ladies. God wish I'd been there to see that one. Needless to say R himself didn't tell me about this (AF did) despite the fact that we had a nice long chat during morning break as I feel like our relationship has been strained lately & I don't know why.
