I've Had A Defining Moment... Y'know Like Moses Did

Only mine was thanks to Bon Jovi who is a god of sex in his own right - I mean just look at that fine hunk of burning love pictured above.... sorry I'm wandering. Anyway I was feeling somewhat sorry for myself. I don't know why considering I've pulled off the most amazing coup yesterday re Kylie tickets. Wohoo!! Anyway to lift my mood I use music. Usually very loud music.

So here I was listening to Bon Jovi's entire back catalogue when I got to the very last song of about the 75th album - ok I jest but it kinda felt that way by this point. It was his "Have A Nice Day" album. I always play my songs on shuffle/random whatever you want to call it & song 3 of said album came up; Welcome to Wherever You Are. By this point I had heard enough Bon Jovi to sink a battleship so I was subconciously filtering him out & not really hearing the songs. Then suddenly an amazing thing happened.

Just when I was feeling the most depressed I have felt in at least three years, the ingenious line "when you want to give up & your heart wants to break, remember that your perfect, God makes no mistakes" sung by Bon Jov's dulcet gravel tones resounding nice & clear in ears. Which came as a slight shock considering prior to it I had filtered him out to such a degree I could barely hear him.

Anyway said line struck a cord with me & I realise I'm a fabulous person & I'm going to be much more positive about life & most of all I'm going to love myself more (no pun intended) So thats it. Moses had his burning bush (again no pun intended) I had Bon Jovi. Thought I'd share that with you.
